this and these, that and those
Here we have more pronouns that can be used to indicate "proximity" (closeness). They act as words to point things out to the listener.
this and these talk about things that are close to us.
that and those talk about things that are further away.
Ex: This is my house and that is my friend's house.
These are the closest, and those are far away.
Other uses include:
Introducing people (others, or yourself)
Ex: This is my friend Tony.
Hello. This is Tony. May I speak to.......? (Use this only on the telephone).
These are the other members of my team, Rag, Tag and Bobtail.
DO NOT say: These are Rag, Tag and Bobtail - instead say: This is Rag, this is Tag and this is Bobtail.

Reflexive Pronouns
This group of pronouns is easy to recognise - they all end in "-self" (sing.) or "-selves" (pl.) and they have several important uses in English.
1) They are used as the direct object of a sentence with a transitive verb where the object is the same as the subject.
I am teaching myself to speak Tagalog. If we fall, we will hurt ourselves. The team could see themselves getting ahead of the rest.
